The Ukrainian was detained in Poland on suspicion of transporting explosives to Ukraine. This was announced on October 21 by the press secretary of the Minister of Special Services of the Republic, Jacek Dobrzynski.

"First of all, a 22—year-old Ukrainian who lived near Warsaw and worked in a warehouse as a warehouse worker was detained," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

According to Dobrzynski, the detainee, along with two accomplices, created a way for the delivery of explosives through Poland and Romania to the territory of Ukraine. He clarified that two young men were detained in Bucharest, and a 22-year-old Ukrainian was detained in Poland.

Earlier in the day, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced the detention of eight people who planned to organize acts of sabotage. According to him, the arrests were carried out in different parts of the republic. At the same time, the Prime Minister did not specify what kind of sabotage was planned.
