The import of used cars to Russia has become a record in two years

In September 2025, a record number of used passenger cars were imported to Russia — 48.4 thousand units. This is the highest figure in the last two years. This was announced on October 21 by the analytical agency Autostat.

"The majority of used cars in our country are still imported from Japan, but its share in total imports continues to decline. For comparison, in June of this year it was at the level of 48%, and in September it had already dropped to 39%," the publication says.
