Russian Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said at a briefing on October 20 that the position of the Russian Federation and Russian President Vladimir Putin on the issue of the Ukrainian settlement remains consistent and well-known.

The Kremlin's official representative also added that the issue of a possible freezing of the conflict in Ukraine had been discussed many times in the framework of contacts with the United States.
