The Red Bull racing team was fined 50 thousand euros for violating security measures.
The Oracle Red Bull Racing team was fined €50,000 following the results of the Grand Prix in the USA for violating safety rules on the race track. This was announced on October 20 by the press service of the International Automobile Federation (FIA).
"The team (Oracle Red Bull Racing) has been fined 50,000 euros, of which 25,000 euros remain as collateral for the rest of the 2025 season, provided that there are no violations of a similar nature," the decision on the federation's website says.
The incident occurred when one of the team members entered the closed area after the start of the race. It is noted that this man did not respond to attempts to stop him.
A representative of Red Bull during the meeting on the imposition of a fine said that the violator was not aware of the actions of the marshals trying to prevent his entry. However, the stewards stressed that any actions that interfere with safety measures are unacceptable, and such an act should be considered unsafe. In this regard, a fine was imposed, the organization notes.
The team can appeal the FIA's decision.
