Pushilin reported on the advance of the Russian Armed Forces to the borders of Konstantinovka in the DPR

Russian intelligence officers have begun advancing towards the outskirts of Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). Denis Pushilin, the head of the DPR, told about this on October 20 on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

"The Konstantinovsky direction is also an improvement in positions. And after the liberation of Pleshcheyevka, we see that <...> our intelligence service is already entering the outskirts of Konstantinovka. This is a harbinger of the upcoming urban battles for the liberation of the settlement," Pushilin said.

He added that Konstantinovka remains one of the three major cities that have not yet been liberated, along with Slavyansk and Kramatorsk.

On October 19, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Russian military personnel had liberated the village of Chunishino in the DPR and Poltava in the Zaporizhia region. It was noted that the military hit the manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the areas of the settlements of Toretsk, Grishino, Novogrigorovka, Novopavlovka, Dimitrov, Volnoye, Novonikolayevka and Krasnoarmeysk in the DPR.
