The court invalidated the lease agreement for 146 hectares of agricultural land located in the Kushchevsky district of the Krasnodar Territory, according to which this territory was controlled by the family of the former head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Alexander Tkachev. According to information available to Kommersant, this ruling, which representatives of the agroholding intend to challenge by filing a cassation appeal for consideration on October 21 this year, was approved by the Arbitration Court of the Krasnodar Territory and the Fifteenth Arbitration Court of Appeal. These courts, as it is emphasized, in 2023 already recognized claims for cancellation of the lease agreement on land as justified.

It is noted that the site on which the agricultural lands are located was allocated to a peasant farm 26 years ago - in 1999, and eight years later — in 2007 — the municipal property management of the district and Agrofirma FBK LLC concluded a lease agreement for a period of 10 years and only then, in 2014, The lands were leased to JSC Firm Agrocomplex named after N. I. Tkachev.

Tkachev's company tried to extend the lease on preferential terms in 2017, but this initiative was not approved by the regional Department of Property Relations, which in turn referred to signs of the nullity of the expired contracts at that time.

On June 21, representatives of the FSB of the Russian Federation announced the suppression of illegal tobacco factories that planned to operate in the Krasnodar Territory. This property, according to the agency, was seized, and its amount exceeded 1 billion rubles.
