The State Duma has proposed an annual indexation of salaries in Russia for all spheres

The annual indexation of salaries in Russia should cover all areas and be prescribed in the Labor Code. This was announced on October 7 by Yaroslav Nilov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs.

"Due to the fact that inflation is taking place, an employee's salary should increase annually, regardless of where he works, in what field — budgetary, non-budgetary, commercial, non-commercial. In any case, growth should be at least at the level of actual inflation," he said.
