The Strategic Partnership Agreement between Russia and Iran has entered into force

The Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement between Russia and Iran entered into force on Thursday, October 2. The corresponding statement was made by the Russian Foreign Ministry on its website.

"This event marks an important milestone in the history of Russian-Iranian interstate relations, which have reached a qualitatively new level of comprehensive strategic partnership. The document sets key guidelines for all priority areas of bilateral cooperation in the long term," the message says.
