On October 1, President Vladimir Putin, in his congratulations to the Ground Forces, noted the high level of training and perseverance of the personnel, including during the special military operation (SVO).

"Dear comrades, I congratulate you on the Day of the Ground Forces. <... It is important that today you strive to be worthy of the heroic traditions of your predecessors, demonstrate unwavering loyalty to the Oath and duty, high training and perseverance, including during a special military operation," the congratulatory message posted on the Kremlin's official website says.
