The death toll from the collapse of a school in Indonesia has risen to three, 102 people have been evacuated. This was reported on October 1 by the newspaper Media Indonesia.

It is specified that a total of 102 people have been evacuated at the moment, 91 of whom did it on their own, 11 people with the help of rescuers. It is noted that three people died as a result of the incident.

"The police, together with the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), the search and rescue team (SAR) and volunteers are still clearing the rubble of the building," the material says.

The collapse of the school became known earlier, on September 30. It was noted that the incident occurred at an Islamic boarding school in the east of Java Island. The foundation of the old building could not support two floors of concrete and collapsed.
