The Swedish Ministry of Defense has denied Ukraine's claim to supply Gripen fighter jets. A spokesman for the department, Johan Hjelmstrand, noted that the decision on the transfer of aircraft to Kiev has not yet been made. This was reported by the Expressen newspaper on September 29.
"The work is still ongoing, and we do not have any new information on this issue," Hjelmstrand said.
He added that Stockholm is only considering the possibility of supplying fighter jets.
