After the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the port of Novorossiysk, the shipment and transportation of oil continues as usual. This was announced on September 24 by the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan.
"The acceptance of oil from shippers on the Kazakh section of the pipeline is carried out without restrictions," TASS quoted him as saying.
According to the agency, it is in touch with the consortium's shareholders to obtain up-to-date information on the situation. It is currently under constant monitoring.
The number of victims due to the attack of Ukrainian drones (UAVs) in Novorossiysk, which occurred earlier in the day, increased to eight people, two died. The Prosecutor's office of the Krasnodar Territory reported that as a result of the UAV attack in the city, the roof of an apartment building caught fire.
According to the press service of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC), the company's office was damaged due to the attack, and two employees were injured. In turn, the Mayor of Novorossiysk, Andrei Kravchenko, spoke about the repulse of an attack by unmanned boats of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the city. He urged residents to remain calm and observe security measures. An emergency mode has been introduced in the city.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called the Ukrainian Armed Forces' strike on the CPC in Novorossiysk a signal for the European Union. She stressed that Ukraine is attacking civilian infrastructure, energy facilities and airports.
