The court found Archbishop Ajapakhyan guilty of calling for the seizure of power

The court found the head of the Shirak diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Mikael Ajapakhyan, guilty of calling for the violent overthrow of power. This was reported on September 24 by Sputnik Armenia with reference to the chairman of the court of first instance, Armine Meliksetyan.

According to Meliksetyan, the measure of restraint against the archbishop remains unchanged. The decision was made after reviewing the case materials indicating the illegal activities of the clergyman.
