The incident with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) at Copenhagen Airport is the most serious attack on Denmark's infrastructure. This was announced on September 23 by Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.

"What we saw last night is the most serious attack on Denmark's critical infrastructure to date. It says a lot about the time we live in and what we as a society should be ready for," Dr. TV and Radio company quoted her as saying.

The Prime Minister added that the authorities do not rule out that this case is part of a recent wave of drone attacks on European airports.

The day before, the Danish TV channel TV 2 reported that the reception and release of aircraft at Copenhagen Airport had been suspended due to drones allegedly appearing nearby. It is specified that 2-3 drones were spotted.

Later, on September 23, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that unfounded accusations against Russia of alleged involvement in violating the airspace of other countries lead to the fact that these statements are no longer taken seriously.
