A Ukrainian drone was shot down over the government building of the Belgorod region. This was announced on September 22 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"Now a drone has been shot down over the regional government building. Well, at least, I hope, we will hold the meeting live," he said during an operational government meeting, which was broadcast on the VKontakte social network.

In addition, the head of the region expressed gratitude to the air defense forces, noting the work of the soldiers of the Orlan and Bars units, who successfully destroyed the drone. He also stressed the importance of their service, thanking them for the effective performance of their tasks.

On September 22, Gladkov reported on the tense situation in the Krasnoyaruzhsky and Rakityansky districts of the Belgorod region due to increased drone attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). According to him, just over the past day, as a result of the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, three people were killed and ten injured.
