- The Ukrainian Armed Forces did not remove some of the NATO ammunition during their retreat from the Kursk region.
During the retreat from the Kursk region, the Ukrainian units did not have time to take out some of the ammunition transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) by NATO countries. This was reported on September 21 by RIA Novosti.
"The ammunition presented is not outdated junk. These are standard, topical munitions that are still being massively used by the armies of NATO countries. Their delivery to Ukraine means the transfer of real, working combat units, and not the decommissioning of scrap," explained an agency interlocutor from law enforcement agencies.
According to him, the rapid retreat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the loss of logistical capabilities prevented the militants from removing ammunition.
"With a rapid defense breakthrough, the retreating units simply do not have time for the organized loading and evacuation of heavy loads, boxes of ammunition," the article says.
On September 19, the commander of an assault detachment of the Russian Army with the call sign Bur told about the flight of the Armed Forces of Ukraine without weapons and equipment during the retreat from the Serebryansk forestry in the Lugansk People's Republic (LNR). He noted that the penetration of motorized rifle and assault units into the combat formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine allowed Russian troops to take control of the enemy's rear. As a result, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine located at the border of the Serebryansk forestry were surrounded, their positions were defeated and destroyed.
