- The inscription "Glory to Russia" appeared on the board of the train from Kiev to Transcarpathia
The inscription "Glory to Russia" appeared on the board of the train from Kiev to the city of Rakhiv in Transcarpathia. This was reported to the local police on September 20 on the social network Facebook (owned by Meta, whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
"Police officers of the Ivano-Frankivsk region are conducting an investigation into the incident on the train. The investigators conducted an inspection of the scene, seized a tablet device from which the programming of this spreadsheet is carried out," the report says.
Earlier, on September 15, the Language Ombudsman of Ukraine, Elena Ivanovskaya, acknowledged that Kiev remains a Russian-speaking city. In an interview with Glavkom, she commented on the journalist's words that the capital was Russified, calling it "a serious problem, including a philosophical one."
