The storming of the house of Interior Ministry General Panov, from whom 21 million rubles were seized, was filmed

On September 15, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation published a video of the storming of the house of the former deputy chief of the rear of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Lieutenant General Vladimir Panov, during which more than 21 million rubles were seized.

Investigators have established that Panov has more than 40 registered real estate objects belonging to him and his relatives. Panov is accused of accepting a large bribe.

According to the Investigative Committee, in 2012, the state customer signed a contract with SK Remstroytorg LLC in the amount of more than 2.5 billion rubles for construction work in the Kemerovo region. Panov supervised the execution of the contract. Through an intermediary, he received a bribe of 37 million rubles from this company.

The court decided to arrest Panov and chose a preventive measure against him in the form of detention.

Businessmen who transferred money to them were sentenced to up to 8.5 years in prison.

Earlier, on September 14, it became known about Panov's detention for a period of 60 days. In addition, it was clarified that in 2020, the Rostov garrison military Court convicted Panov of abuse of office.
