CEC: Minnikhanov, Khinshtein and Drozdenko showed the best results in the elections
The current heads of Tatarstan and the Leningrad regions, as well as the acting governors of the Kursk and Orenburg regions, are showing the highest performance in the 2025 gubernatorial elections.
The counting of votes continues, but most of the ballots have already been processed in these regions, TASS reported on September 15.
According to the CEC, the current head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, wins 88.12% of the votes after processing 99.2% of the ballots. Alexander Khinshtein, the acting governor of the Kursk Region, also showed high results — 86.92%, Alexander Drozdenko, the governor of the Leningrad Region, 84.21%, and Evgeny Solntsev, the acting governor of the Orenburg Region, 83.85%.
The governor of Krasnodar Krai, Veniamin Kondratiev, receives 83.37% of the votes while processing 98.4% of the ballots, and the acting head of the Jewish Autonomous Region, Maria Kostyuk, is gaining more than 83%.
Currently, Igor Kobzev, the governor of the Irkutsk region, has low rates — 60.79%. Acting Governor of the Sverdlovsk region Denis Pasler — 61.3%, acting governor of the Novgorod region Alexander Dronov — 62.19%, Governor of the Kamchatka Territory Vladimir Solodov — 62.97%.
The acting governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar, receives 81.18% of the votes with 97.03% of the protocols processed, the current governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, receives 81.72% with 100% of the processed ballots.
The acting head of the Komi Republic, Rostislav Goldstein (United Russia), is gaining 70.04% of the votes with 100% of the processed protocols. Governor of the Kaluga region Vladislav Shapsha — 72.34% (97.19%), acting head of the Tambov region Evgeny Pervyshov — 74.3% (97.08%).
The governor of the Perm Region Dmitry Makhonin wins with a score of 70.94% when processing all protocols, the governor of the Bryansk region Alexander Bogomaz — 78.78% (100%).
The head of the Chuvash Republic Oleg Nikolaev ("Fair Russia — Patriots — For Truth") leads with 67.42% with 97.21% of ballots processed. The Governor of the Kostroma Region, Sergey Sitnikov (United Russia), is gaining 67.55% (90.13%), and the governor of the Arkhangelsk Region, Alexander Tsybulsky, is gaining 67.32% with 100% of the protocols processed.
On a single voting day, elections of various levels were held in 81 regions of the Russian Federation. Direct elections were held for the governors of 20 regions, deputies of 11 legislative assemblies, and 25 duma administrative centers. There were also election campaigns for local governments.
On the same day, the chairman of the Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova, announced that there had been no incidents that could affect the voting results. She also noted that the voter turnout was about 47%, which is 8% higher compared to the same voting period in 2022. According to her, approximately 26 million voters took part in a single voting day.
A single voting day ended on September 14. 21 governors were elected, as well as 11 regional parliaments. On the same day, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev pointed out the minimal number of violations in the elections.
