During his working trip to St. Petersburg on Friday, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a number of meetings, including with Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller. This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"Today, in fact, the president held a working meeting with the governor of St. Petersburg [Alexander Beglov]. Then they sat down with the head of Gazprom [Alexey Miller]. Well, you can imagine what a huge farm, so, of course, contacts with Miller are constant. There were other meetings," he said, quoted by TASS.
In addition, Peskov noted that Putin's meetings "with wheels" "happen all the time."
Earlier, on September 12, Putin met with the Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov. It was clarified that the Russian leader made a working trip to the city, during which he took part in the XI St. Petersburg International Forum of United Cultures, which was held from September 10 to 13.
On the same day, it was reported that during his speech at the forum, Putin noted the attention of the Russian authorities to regional cultural centers, which promotes the development of talents in small towns of the state.
