In Khakassia, a hunter mistook a man for a wild animal and accidentally shot him.

In the Republic of Khakassia, a man accidentally injured his friend while hunting, as a result of which the victim died. This was announced on September 14 by the press service of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Khakassia.

The incident occurred on September 12 near the village of Kubayka in the Tashtypsky district, where five men who came from Abakan were hunting. Before entering the forest, they split into two groups. According to the agency, one of the hunters mistook the man in front of him for a wild animal in the evening and fired a shot. The victim was seriously wounded in the stomach, doctors did not have time to take him to the hospital.

"A criminal case has been opened against a 36-year-old resident of Abakan. He is suspected of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence")," follows from the Telegram channel of the department.

On August 26, a 12-year-old boy inadvertently shot and killed a 15-year-old teenager in the town of Malgobek in the Republic of Ingushetia. It was clarified that the incident occurred on the territory of a private house. A criminal case was opened into the death of a minor under Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence").
