The host of Swedish television SVT interrupted an interview with the Russian Ambassador to Stockholm, Sergei Belyaev, when he began to talk about the investigation of events in the Ukrainian city of Bucha. This was announced on September 12 at the Russian diplomatic mission.

"When the ambassador brought indisputable arguments that this story was fake, <...> the host of the program hurried to interrupt the conversation and accused the Russian ambassador of lying," the embassy said in a comment on the Telegram channel.

During the interview, the issue of the alleged killings of civilians in Bucha by the Russian military in the spring of 2022 was raised. The Russian ambassador provided irrefutable evidence that these events are fake and cynical staging of Ukrainian propaganda.

He also noted that, despite Russia's repeated demands, the UN had not conducted an investigation. At the same time, the list of those killed in Bucha was also not provided.
