Defender Igor Diveev has extended his contract with CSKA. This was announced on September 12 by the Moscow Football club (FC) in its Telegram channel.

"We wish Igor new victories in the red-blue team!" — stated in the publication.

It is specified that the new contract with the 25-year-old player runs until the end of the 2028/29 season.

Diveev has been playing for CSKA since 2019. During this period, he played 192 matches and scored 19 goals, won two Cups and one Russian Super Cup. According to Sport-Express, the athlete has played in eight matches this season and scored two goals.

Earlier, on September 11, CSKA signed an agreement with Italian FC Napoli to transfer Serbian-born midfielder Matija Popovic to the army. It was clarified that the footballer, who previously also played for Serbian FC Partizan and Vojvodina, played 26 matches last season as part of the Napoli youth team.
