Starting from October 1, 2025, the Russian government will increase by 7.6% the salary of military personnel serving on conscription and under contract, as well as employees of a number of government agencies. The relevant document was posted on the official Internet portal of legal information on September 11.

Initially, according to the decree of April 9, 2025, it was planned to increase salaries by 4.5%. However, in a new document published by the government, changes were made, and in the first paragraph of the resolution, the numbers "1,045" were replaced by "1,076".

The decree of the Government of the Russian Federation provides for an increase in salaries for military positions and salaries for military ranks for military personnel serving under contract, as well as salaries for military positions for conscripts.

In addition, the document affects the official salaries and salaries for special ranks of persons serving in the troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation and having special ranks of the police, employees of internal affairs bodies and institutions of the penal system of the Russian Federation.
