Scientists have pointed to a possible increase in solar activity on Thursday.

A moderate increase in solar activity is expected on Thursday, while there are no risks to the Earth. This was announced on September 11 at the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy at the Institute of Space Research (IKI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

"Forecast for the day: geomagnetic activity is calm. Flash activity is low; moderate growth is possible without risks to the Earth," the laboratory said in a message on its Telegram channel.

The scientists added that over the past day, the geomagnetic situation around the Earth remained slightly disturbed, and the Solar activity related to flares was low.
