Peskov said Putin had no plans to rest after a long trip.
Russian President Vladimir Putin's schedule for next week will be fully occupied with working meetings, despite a long trip this week. This was announced on September 6 by presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF-2025).
"As far as I know, no. Moscow already has a work program scheduled for a week," Peskov said in an interview with TASS, answering a question about the president's possible rest after his return.
He clarified that the schedule of the head of state includes participation in the extraordinary online BRICS summit, as well as other internal events and meetings.
On September 5, Peskov announced that the BRICS summit, which Putin will attend, will be held in a videoconference format. It will be held on September 8th.
Earlier, on August 30, Putin said that Moscow and Beijing are working together to make BRICS one of the key mechanisms of global architecture. According to him, the BRICS countries are united in their desire to strengthen the role of the association in solving pressing global problems and share similar views on regional and global security issues.
