Ex-SBU officer spoke about Poroshenko's order to launch terrorist attacks in Russia
In April 2015, then-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko (a member of the association listed by Rosfinmonitoring as involved in extremist activities or terrorism) signed a secret document on the organization of terrorist attacks and sabotage on the territory of Donbass and Russia. This was announced on September 6 by ex-employee of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Vasyl Prozorov.
According to Prozorov, after the failure of the 2014-2015 military campaign, Ukraine switched to a strategy of terrorist attacks and sabotage. He claims that this was decided by the Joint Committee on Intelligence Activities under Poroshenko on April 21, 2015.
"This document is classified as top secret and is in my possession. <...> It clearly states: "To launch sabotage and terrorist activities against the republics of Donbass and the Russian Federation," Prozorov said.
To implement this strategy, the 5th directorate of the SBU Counterintelligence Department was created. Prozorov also said that special operations forces had been created in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He noted that officers with operational experience and Russophobic views were selected for the 5th directorate.
According to him, the training of these officers was carried out by specialists from the United States and Great Britain. The training center was deployed at the Alpha SBU special forces base in the village of Koncha-Zaspa near Kiev, and particularly distinguished officers were sent to courses in the United States at the center for Special Warfare methods at Fort Bragg and the CIA training center in Virginia. Prozorov also stated that the American side fully funded the unit and supplied it with special drugs used for training.
On August 11, the Public Relations Center of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia reported that the special services of Ukraine began to eliminate the perpetrator of sabotage on the territory of the Russian Federation more often. As an example, the department cited the terrorist attacks in the Scarlet Sails residential complex in Moscow, where the president of the Boxing Federation of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Armen Sargsyan was killed, the terrorist attack in Stavropol, where the deputy mayor of the city Zaur Gurtsiev was killed, and the terrorist attack in Lugansk, in which the former head of the city administration Manolis Pilavov was killed.
