The boy who received help from Putin in China is a Dagestani

The boy with cancer, whom Russian President Vladimir Putin helped with treatment in Moscow, is a native of Dagestan. This was announced on September 5 by the head of the republic Sergey Melikov in his Telegram channel.

"The whole of Dagestan was touched by the news of President Vladimir Putin's help to our young countryman. <...> Thank you, Vladimir Vladimirovich! Thank you on behalf of all Dagestanis!" wrote the head of the region.

He also instructed the regional Ministry of Health to keep in touch with the boy's relatives and doctors to provide the necessary assistance. At the moment, the patient is undergoing treatment at the N.N. Blokhin National Research Medical Center of Oncology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
