Tashkent has asked the Russian Foreign Ministry to take action against a man who insulted an Uzbek in the Moscow region. This was announced on September 3 by the press secretary of the diplomatic department of Uzbekistan, Akhror Burkhanov.

"Proceedings are underway regarding the situation that caused widespread discussions at the end of August. In this regard, an official note from the Russian Foreign Ministry was sent in order to identify the person in that video and take legal measures against him," he said in a video message posted on the Uzbek Foreign Ministry's YouTube channel.
