Yuri Ivashechkin, the creator of the Su-25 attack aircraft, has died.

The creator of the Su-25 attack aircraft, Yuri Ivashechkin, died at the age of 91, the Rostec press service reported.

"Yuri Viktorovich Ivashechkin, the creator of the Su-25, the first chief designer of the Sukhoi Superjet 100, died at the age of 91. We express our sincere condolences to the families and friends," the message says.
