The fire area on the territory of the Volgograd market increased to 3 thousand square meters. m. On August 30, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia reported.
"Extinguishing is complicated by dense buildings and high fire load. Uninterrupted water supply has been organized," the ministry said in a statement.
About 100 people and 41 pieces of equipment are working at the fire site, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
