President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky rejected the idea of creating a buffer zone on the territory of the country, explaining that it had actually already been formed as a result of the use of drones.

At the briefing, which was broadcast by the TV channel "Public. News," Zelensky noted that the proposals of European and American partners to create a buffer zone of 40-100 km do not take into account the modern technological realities of warfare.

According to him, heavy weapons have already been deployed at a distance of 10 km or more, as any equipment is affected by drones. Zelensky stressed that this "dead" or "gray" zone can be considered to already exist.
