The Chita — Yekaterinburg aircraft gave a smoke signal and successfully landed.

The Ural Airlines plane, en route from Chita to Yekaterinburg, signaled a possible smoke in the luggage compartment, but the landing was successful. This was announced on August 29 by the press service of the airline.

"During flight U6-623 en route Chita — Yekaterinburg (Koltsovo), an alarm for possible smoke in the luggage compartment was triggered during the descent stage for landing in Koltsovo. The crew reported the situation to the EU ATM dispatcher, completed all necessary procedures and landed the aircraft safely," the statement said.

It is noted that the alarm was triggered incorrectly.

Earlier, on August 7, the plane, which was en route from Moscow to Sochi, made an unscheduled landing in Astrakhan. Previously, the reason for the emergency landing was traces of smoke in one of the baggage compartments, they were revealed as a result of an inspection of the aircraft at Astrakhan airport. Later, the transport prosecutor's office organized an inspection.
