The number of teachers in schools in the Moscow region is increasing: the rural mortgage program for them has shown its effectiveness. Vladimir Putin said this on April 8 at a meeting with the governor of the Moscow Region, Andrei Vorobyov. The head of the region also said that the number of educational institutions in the region is growing. For example, in 2025, about 25 more schools will be built in the Moscow region.

The authorities of the Moscow region pay special attention to measures to support the families of the participants in the special operation: units have been formed in each district that provide targeted assistance. Andrey Vorobyov highly appreciated the work of the regional branch of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation. Vladimir Putin said that currently 18,000 people have benefited from the fund's assistance. The region will soon launch a personnel program for the participants of the SVO — "Time of Heroes", about 6 thousand people will take part in it. In the Moscow region, attention is being paid to the rehabilitation of military personnel — a center for the deaf and dumb has already been launched in the region.
The number of beds for patients at the L.I. Roshal Children's Clinical Center in Krasnogorsk, which was inaugurated by the president in August 2024, is planned to increase to 530, the governor said. In 2025, about 60 operations a day are taking place there, and 115,000 children will receive medical care in a year. Andrey Vorobyov added that construction of another large hospital center in Mytishchi will begin this year. He also recalled the construction of a regional hospital in Balashikha with 1.2 thousand beds, which is planned to be commissioned in December 2027.
Vladimir Putin noticed a tendency to increase the number of teachers in schools in the Moscow region. The governor said that the authorities pay special attention to taking care of teachers. For example, a social mortgage program has been introduced for them in the Moscow region: the state covers the loan body, and teachers pay only interest — "this is about 20-26 thousand rubles per month," Vorobyov said. The governor promised that, if not by the end of the year, then in the first quarter of 2026, a road will be built "that will rescue 250 thousand people from captivity."
