In Moscow, a 17-year-old teenager fell victim to fraudsters and issued a loan to his sleeping mother using her fingerprint. This was reported on January 15 by the source of "Izvestiya".

On January 13, the young man received a call from an unknown person who introduced himself as an employee of a medical institution and offered to get an MHI policy. The teenager dictated to him the details of his passport, and soon received an SMS-message saying that there was an unauthorized entry into his personal account on "Gosuslugi".

Later, the teenager received a call from a woman who allegedly introduced herself as an employee of "Gosuslugi" - she reported about the data leak and transferred the call to a "specialist" who said that the teenager's mother is under threat, as from her details made a transfer to an account opened in Kiev.

After that, the minor received a call from a person who introduced himself as a prosecutor and stated his intention to "remove the trace" of the made transfer. The young man was persuaded to "update" the bank accounts of his parents. To do this, he was asked to enter the mobile application "Sberbank" from his mother's phone, make a loan for the maximum possible amount, and then transfer the money to her own account, opened in PJSC "VTB Bank", in order to send the entire amount to a "safe" account.

While his mother was asleep, the teenager entered her personal account using her fingerprint and issued a credit card for 110 thousand rubles. Under the guidance of the fraudster, he transferred 105 thousand rubles to his mother's account, and then sent 100 thousand rubles to the bank card number dictated by the interlocutor. After that, the "specialist" stopped contacting.

It is noted that the fact of what happened is being checked.

Earlier in the day in Moscow, a 19-year-old student took out of her parents' safe a few hours Rolex and $60 thousand after a phone call with fraudsters and left home.

Before that, on January 13, the press service of the Department of Education and Science of Moscow reported that in the capital there are more cases of fraud on behalf of alleged employees of educational institutions, who request a code from the application "Gosuservices" to continue studying in the second half of the year.
