The stars of the acclaimed hit series "Lilies of the Valley" met on the set of a New Year's special dedicated to the continuation of the project, and revealed the details of the second season, which will premiere in 2026. Nika Zdorik and Sergey Gorodnichy, as well as musicians whose names lit up with the project and whose songs became an integral part of it, took to the stage of the National Center "Russia", which turned into a festive living room that evening. Premiere of the musical melodrama "Lilies of the Valley. Such a tender love" took place on January 1, 2025. Since then, the project has gained more than 100 million views on various platforms and on TV and secured the status of one of the most popular Russian TV series of 2025. Even the creators didn't make such high bets back then. Their task is all the more difficult now that a sequel, subtitled "The Second Spring," is on the way.
— The fundamental difference is that in the first season we didn't know how the audience would receive us, and we shot a sincere love story. In the second season, it remained, but now there is responsibility and awe in front of the audience, who loved us so much," actress Irina Pautova, who played the girlfriend of the main character, told Izvestia.

The project is already at the finish line, and his team is carefully sharing details of the upcoming season and filming process, avoiding spoilers. For this purpose, on December 18, the creative group met on the stage of the National Center "Russia", which turned into a cozy New Year's living room. In its interiors, in the company of the hosts of the evening, rapper ST and his wife Assol, the heroes of "Lilies of the Valley" cooked olivier, decorated the Christmas tree and watched the first shots of the sequel. Meanwhile, Nansi & Sidorov, Beautiful Boys, Zhenya Trofimov and The Culture Room, and other artists whose songs have become a special part of this story, were responsible for the musical mood.

As before, music plays a key role in Lilies of the Valley. 10 original compositions were created especially for the second season, and about 50 in total will be performed in the project. Therefore, it seems logical that music video director Ilya Shpota replaced Alexander Karpilovsky in the director's chair.
— This is my film debut on such a large scale. There was a lot of preparation. I created a large dramatic arc for each character so as not to lose what made the first season successful. A lot of experience in music videos helped me make musical numbers. One of the most difficult is probably for the song "The Last Waltz". Because it was the first one and there were screens, it was very, very expensive and large-scale," the director told Izvestia.

"Bombs exploded right on the set"
The geography of the second season covered several cities besides Moscow. For example, a record was set in Crimea — more than 33 thousand people took part in the mass scene. The team filmed part of the project in Mariupol.
— There have been many challenges this season. Real fighting was nearby. Bombs exploded right on the set. We were lucky, we left five minutes before," said Yuri Sapronov, the author of the idea, producer and screenwriter of the project. — It is clear that this is a complex topic, not an easy one. Especially when it's in the hot phase. It's difficult to work, but we don't have to pretend that it doesn't concern us. People care about that. Why is it so popular? Because they started talking to people normally, even in this genre.
The main intrigue of the second season is connected with the hero of Sergei Gorodnichy, tank lieutenant Lech. In the first, love is born between him and the heiress of a huge fortune, Katya, played by Niki Zdorik. The action takes place against the background of THEIR OWN, and events separate the couple. In the sequel, Katya rushes in search of a guy who disappeared at the front. Whether he will return or appear in her visions and flashbacks, the creators are keeping a secret.
— Fans are constantly writing to my hero to come back, asking where he is, joking: "Katya is looking for you." One day a tankman came up to me and thanked me for the series, because it is very popular among the military and their wives. This topic resonates with them," Sergei Gorodnichy told reporters during the meeting.
At the same time, the creators emphasize that the story is about love, but the plot in the spirit of "The Taming of the Shrew" is adapted to certain circumstances.
— My character will reveal herself more deeply. A good director recently told me that anyone can play a rebellious girl, but not everyone can play real drama and pain. So I hope that I did it," said Nika Zdorik, the performer of the role of Katya.
The actress warned the guests of the evening to prepare handkerchiefs. "The Second Spring" will begin exactly one year after the release of the first part — the premiere will take place on January 1, 2026 at midnight on Wink.
