Soccer emirates: what RPL clubs have planned for the winter break

The New Year vacations are over, and the Russian Premier League teams are heading to training camps. Preparation for the crucial part of the season clubs will spend in the United Arab Emirates, Turkey and Qatar. What is currently known about the plans of each of the 16 teams of the RPL in this winter break - in the material "Izvestia".

"Krasnodar".

The current RPL leader will spend the entire winter training cycle in the United Arab Emirates. The first two training camps (from January 14 to 19 and from January 22 to February 4) will be held in Abu Dhabi, and the third - from February 8 to 21 in Dubai.

During the second training camp in Abu Dhabi Murad Musayev's team will take part in the RPL Winter Cup. The tournament will be held from January 30 to February 11. In addition to Krasnodar, five other clubs of the Russian top division will play in it: Zenit, CSKA, Rostov, Spartak and Dynamo Moscow.

The Bulls have matches scheduled with the latter two: January 30 - with Spartak, and February 4 - with Dynamo.

"Zenit"

The reigning Russian champions will come out of vacation on January 10. From January 11 to 13 the team will undergo the traditional winter medical examination, and on January 14 will go to Qatar for the first training camp. The second part of the winter preparation for the resumption of the championship will be held from February 1 to 14 in the UAE, where Zenit will take part in the Winter Cup of the RPL. The tournament will start on February 4 with a match against CSKA, and on February 7 Sergey Semak's wards will meet Valeri Karpin's Rostov. Matches for 3rd-6th places are scheduled for February 10, and the tournament final is scheduled for February 11.

There, in the United Arab Emirates, Zenit will hold the final, third training camp. The exact date of the training camp, as well as potential sparring opponents are still unknown. Perhaps there or in the first part of the training camp "Zenit" will be able to play with some foreign team.

"Spartak"

The Red-Whites will start the first part of the training camp on January 14. It will be held in Turkish Belek until January 21. During this time Dejan Stankovic's team will play only one friendly match - with Novorossiysk "Chernomorets". The meeting will be held on January 20 in closed mode and will consist of three halves of 45 minutes.

From January 25 to February 13, Spartak will be based in the UAE. During the second training camp in Dubai, the Muscovites will play a match against Kazakhstan's Astana on February 2, and will also take part in the RPL Winter Cup. A match with Krasnodar is scheduled for January 30, with Dynamo Moscow on February 7, and with one of the representatives of the parallel group - Zenit, CSKA or Rostov - on February 10 or 11.

Two more games await "Spartak" at the third training camp, which will be held from February 18 to 25 - again in Belek. On February 20 the match with Moscow "Torpedo" will be held, and on February 24 - with Uzbekistani "Nasaf".

"Dynamo".

January 13-14, Dynamo players will undergo a medical examination. The first training camp of the Bilo-Syni is scheduled for January 15-27 in Qatar - the team will play one control match there. Two more training camps will be held in the UAE: one - from February 1 to 15, and the second - from February 18 to 27. During the first training camp in the Emirates Dynamo will play in the RPL Winter Cup. The first two exact opponents are Krasnodar (February 4) and Spartak (February 7). The third opponent for February 10 or 11 will be determined by the results of meetings involving Zenit, CSKA and Rostov.

The exact dates of matches and opponents out of the tournament will be determined later.

"Lokomotiv"

For the whole time of the winter training camp "railroaders" will stay in the UAE. The first two training camps will be held in Abu Dhabi (January 13-24 and January 28-February 8), and the third - in Dubai (February 13-23). Nothing is known about Lokomotiv's opponents at the moment.

CSKA

Like Lokomotiv, CSKA's first two training camps will be held in Abu Dhabi. The first - from January 13 to 23, the second - from January 27 to February 11. During the second training camp the Army Men will play in the RPL Winter Cup: January 31 - with Rostov, February 4 - with Zenit, and February 10 or 11 - with one of the Dynamo/Krasnodar/Spartak trio.

CSKA's final, third training camp will be held in Belek, Turkey, from February 14-23. So far, without officially named opponents.

"Rostov"

The Rostov team is simple and modest. Karpin's team will spend the entire winter offseason in the UAE. When they will start and when they will finish, it has not been announced yet. But the names of opponents and dates of matches with their participation are known: on January 19 Rostov will play with Rodina, on January 24 - with Uzbekistani Sogdiana, and from January 31 the team will start the RPL Winter Cup - matches with CSKA (January 31) and Zenit (February 7), as well as an additional game on February 10 or 11 - with Spartak/Krasnodar or Dynamo Moscow.

"Rubin"

In the calendar "Rubin" already marked the dates of all three winter training camps. All of them will be held in Turkish Belek. The first - from January 15 to 26, the second - from January 30 to February 9, and the third - from February 13 to 23. No information on opponents so far.

"Akron".

Akron's first winter training camp will be held from January 15-30 in Abu Dhabi (UAE). The Togliatti team will play two games there: January 23 - against Rodina, and January 29 - against Armenian Urartu. There is no information on the opponents for the other two training camps, February 1-9 and February 13-22 in Dubai.

"Krylia Sovetov".

All three training camps of "Krylia Sovetov" will be held in Antalya, Turkey. At the first training camp, which is scheduled for January 13-24, two friendly matches with foreign teams are planned: January 22 - with Bulgarian "Botev", and January 24 - with Montenegrin "Unity".

"Dinamo" (Makhachkala).

Makhachkala stand out among all other RPL clubs in terms of training camp geography. "Dinamo" is the only club in the league, which will hold one of its winter training camps in Russia. Thanks to the warm Dagestan climate with the average daily temperature of +7 degrees Celsius for the next week. However, Dynamo will not stay at home: the training camp in Makhachkala is already under way, and it will last only till January 11. And then - Turkey. All three Turkish training camps will be held in Antalya (January 13-24, January 27-February 7 and February 10-20).

So far only one friendly match of Dynamo Makhachkala is known - with Khimki on February 5.

"Pari NN".

The training direction of Nizhny Novgorod team fully coincides with that of Makhachkala team. The only difference is the absence of a training camp in the capital of Dagestan. Otherwise - the same Antalya with three training camps (January 13-25, January 29 - February 9 and February 13-23).

The only known at the moment sparring partner of Pari NN is Khimki. The Nizhny Novgorod team will play with them on February 22.

"Khimki"

The Moscow Region team will have only one training camp, but what a training camp: almost seven weeks! And all in Turkey. From January 14 to February 27. And so far the record for RPL representatives the number of opponents for friendly matches - eight. January 24 - Serbian "Javor", January 31 - "Chernomorets", January 31 - "SKA" (Khabarovsk), February 5 - "Dynamo" (Makhachkala), February 8 - Kazakh "Zhenis", February 14 - "Kairat", February 18 - "Kamaz", and February 22 - "Pari NN".

"Fakel".

On January 10, the team will hold the first training session in Moscow, and already on January 11 "Fakel" will go to Turkey, where three training camps are planned. The first will be held from January 11 to 22, the second - from January 26 to February 7, and the third - from February 11 to 21.

"Akhmat"

Winter preparatory training camp "Akhmat" will spend in Turkish Belek. The first stage will be held from January 10 to 24. The second training camp will begin on January 27 and will last until February 10. The final part of the training will be held from February 14 to 24.

So far there is no information on the opponents for the friendlies, but the number of these opponents is known. And when all of them will be known, the record of Khimki can be safely considered broken - 11 games.

"Orenburg"

All three training camps "Orenburg", like "Akhmat", will spend in Turkish Belek. And so far there is also no information on specific opponents for friendly matches. It is only known that at the first training camp (January 11-25) "Orenburg" expects to hold two friendlies, at the second (January 29 - February 12) - three, and at the third (February 17-28) - one.
