Alumni Celebration "Scarlet Sails – 2026", 12+
In the midst of the white nights, St. Petersburg will once again turn into the capital of one of the most romantic events in the country - the Scarlet Sails holiday. Together with their favorite musicians, thousands of graduates will say goodbye to school and take their first step into adulthood, accompanied by an enchanting water and pyrotechnic show.
This year, the main theme of the concert program is a dream. A symbolic "City of Dreamers" will appear on the square, where music, light, set design, video art and theatrical action will merge into a story about choosing one's path, inner strength and a future that everyone creates themselves. The celebration will begin at 20:00 on the Palace Square with performances by youth groups, and at 22:00 Russian pop stars will take the stage.

Later, a grandiose water and pyrotechnic show will take place in the Neva River, and the legendary brig Rossiya will sail under scarlet sails. The ship will begin its journey at the Senate Square, enter the open gate of the Palace Bridge, proceed along the Palace Embankment, perform a spectacular 360-degree turn at the Winter Groove, continue to the Troitsky Bridge, and then return to the Palace.
It is at this moment that music, fire, water, light and scarlet sails will merge into the main symbol of the St. Petersburg summer — a holiday that reminds everyone: dreams must definitely go on a great voyage. The Scarlet Sails holiday was revived in 2005 after a long-term hiatus on the initiative of ROSSIYA Joint Stock Bank, the Government of St. Petersburg and Channel Five.
On June 27 at the Palace Square in St. Petersburg.

What to watch
"The karate kid", 12+
Sports films for teenagers at the Russian box office are a rare genre. The "Karate Kid" clearly inherits the traditions of the cult "Karate Kid", where martial arts were not so much about fighting as about character. The story of a schoolboy who finds himself in a new environment turns into a story about growing up, discipline and finding inner support. The main roles were played by Miron Provorov, Roman Kurtsyn, Polina Maksimova and MMA fighter Magomed Ismailov. It's a good reason to remember that the most important victories take place outside the ring.
From June 25 in the cinema
"Backyards" in Lenkom, 16+
The Lenkom courtyard will once again become the stage for the Backyard, an informal theater festival that Alexander Abdulov invented in the late 1980s. Back then, these summer concerts quickly gained cult status, and today the project is returning in a new format. The program includes musical performances by theater artists and invited guests, including Alexandra Zakharova, Ivan Agapov, Maxim Averin, Dmitry Pevtsov and Anton Shagin. It's a rare opportunity to see Lenkom outside the usual limelight — live, improvisational and almost homely.

Exhibitions
Zvantseva's school. Laboratory of Modernism, 0+
Russian Russian Impressionism Museum offers a glimpse behind the scenes of the legendary St. Petersburg studio of the early 20th century, which shaped the image of the Russian avant-garde. The exhibition will become a lively dialogue between great teachers — Lev Bakst, Mstislav Dobuzhinsky, Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin — and their students, including Marc Chagall and Elena Guro. The project brings together more than 170 masterpieces from dozens of museums and private collections. Visitors will be able to trace how bold experiments with color and form were born, which turned the history of art upside down. Tactile stations with three-dimensional models of works complemented by perfumes based on paintings will be installed for the blind and visually impaired.
