The deployment of the Russian Orbital Station (ROS) is scheduled to begin in 2028. This was announced on February 19 by First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov.

"Of course, our own orbital station, which is planned to be deployed from 2028, should become a matter of national pride," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

According to the first deputy chairman of the Russian government, it should become a key platform for deep space exploration, including for the creation of a Russian base on the Moon.
