Ingushetia reduced its national debt and was able to attract investors
In Ingushetia, 75% of long-term construction projects have been completed. This became known at a meeting between Vladimir Putin and the head of the republic, Mahmoud-Ali Kalimatov. In addition, the subsidized region was able to reduce the total debt by almost 10 billion rubles. Ingushetia's further economic development will depend, among other things, on the authorities' ability to attract business funds to various industries. Now, according to the head of the region, positive trends are noticeable in this direction.
What was discussed at the meeting
Ingushetia has managed to attract investors recently. We are talking about several projects at once, including a sewage treatment plant, a liquefied gas production plant and a detergent production plant. Moreover, a large online retailer Wildberries has started building a logistics hub in the republic. They also created the first IT academy in the North Caucasus. In the spring, it will graduate 500 specialists, the head of the region specified.
Meanwhile, over the past five years, the republic has spent about 500 million rubles on the reconstruction of the international airport named after Sulambek Oskanov, the First Hero of Russia. Ingushetia has almost managed to solve the problem of long—term construction (worth 28 billion) - 75% of the facilities have already been built.
The republic's authorities have reduced the total debt of the region by almost 10 billion rubles, by about four times. "We had a situation where we had about 12 billion [rubles] of various debts — a creditor, a government debt. Today we can say that we have 2-3 billion [rubles] left. We have repaid all this, the measures of budgetary coercion have gone away," said Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov.
The authorities and residents of the region are actively helping their fighters: they provide humanitarian aid and necessary equipment. Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov ordered all district heads to personally visit the parents of the fighters. "Families should be under your personal control at all times," Vladimir Putin stressed. According to him, this work should be organized systematically.
