Belarus has to arm border guards on the border with Ukraine. This was announced on December 9 by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

"The situation on the Belarusian-Ukrainian border has more or less stabilized. Although there are problems through the roof," the BelTA news agency quoted Lukashenko as saying.
