The head of Chuvashia reported on the victims during the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike on Cheboksary

As a result of the attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Cheboksary, casualties and destruction were recorded in the region. Oleg Nikolaev, the head of Chuvashia, wrote about this on December 9 in his Telegram channel.

"Unfortunately, there are casualties and damage to residential buildings. At the moment, all emergency services are working in an enhanced mode, promptly eliminating the consequences and ensuring safety," the publication says.

According to Nikolayev, all necessary assistance is being provided to residents, and damaged residential buildings will be restored.

The head of the republic also reminded local residents about the ban on the publication of footage from the site of the attack or the operation of air defense systems.

Ukrainian troops are retreating to Sumy region, and Russian shooters are being retrained for a new type of target.

The day before, it became known about the fall of UAV debris on residential buildings in the Volgograd region. There were no casualties in the incident, paramedics and firefighters were sent to the scene of the incident.
