Putin awarded the head of Transneft the title of Hero of Labor of Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the title of Hero of Labor to the head of Transneft, Nikolai Tokarev. The relevant decree was posted on the official Internet portal of legal information on November 14.

"For special labor services to the state and a great contribution to the development of the fuel and energy complex, to be awarded the title Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation," the document says.

Nikolay Tokarev has been managing Transneft since November 2007. In March of this year, his term of office was extended for another five years.
