Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin on Wednesday, October 22, during the plenary session proposed to invite representatives of business associations to participate in the discussion of amendments to the Tax Code of the Russian Federation.

"Let's invite their representatives to discuss the 11th issue, which concerns business associations," TASS quoted him as saying.

According to Volodin, it is important to involve business representatives in a dialogue with parliament. The deputy added that Russia should create a legal framework that would allow business to develop effectively in the Russian Federation.

According to the speaker of the State Duma, representatives of business associations should listen and know the position of the parliamentary corps, in particular, each deputy. Volodin stressed that this is "an integral part of the work of parliament," and openness and dialogue are democracy.

On the same day, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov announced at a plenary session of the State Duma of the Russian Federation on October 22 that the department was ready for the second reading of the budget for 2026. According to him, during the meeting with the factions, issues of adjusting tax legislation were raised. It is noted that the relevant proposals made by State Duma deputies, as well as representatives of public organizations and business associations, were reported to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
