The Pobeda bloc announced its intention to continue the fight against the Moldovan government

The opposition political bloc Pobeda in Moldova will continue to fight the ruling regime, despite increased pressure from the authorities. This was announced on September 8 by the press service of the block in the Telegram channel.

The statement notes that the ruling regime continues to use political pressure to influence the opposition.

"The criminal regime demonstrates its rotten nature by increasing pressure on healthy social forces. Mass searches with special forces, the use of force and insults against detainees, their harassment on social networks and the pressure of relatives and friends — all this clearly indicates that Moldova today is an absolutely captured state," the message says.

The bloc stated that, despite the restrictions, it will continue to fight the regime, including in the upcoming parliamentary elections on September 28.

On September 2, the leader of the Republican party "Heart of Moldova" and the former head of Gagauzia, Irina Vlah, reported that police officers had raided the party's activists. According to her, the purpose of these events is to intimidate and discredit the party. Vlah added that, despite the difficulties, the "Heart of Moldova" will continue to "fight the yellow regime until it is removed from power."

On September 5, the leader of the Victory bloc, Ilan Shor, stated that he sees defeating Sandu as the main goal in future parliamentary elections. According to him, fair early elections will need to be held after its "demolition."

Later, on September 7, Shor noted that the searches of the opposition in Moldova were part of a "national hunt" by the current regime. According to Shor, the regime of the current Moldovan president, Maia Sandu, is in "agony" because it understands that it is losing power. He added that the local authorities would do everything possible and impossible to "intimidate" the opposition.
