The Tagansky court of Moscow fined the Twitch video streaming service 3.8 million rubles. This was announced on April 27 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

Twich Interactive, Inc. was found guilty of violating the procedure for restricting access to information and information resources, access to which is subject to restriction in accordance with Russian law (Part 2 of Article 13.41 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation).

In December last year, the Tagansky District Magistrate's Court found Twitch and Pinterest guilty of violating Russian law and fined them 6 million rubles each. It was noted that both services did not comply with the requirements of the authority responsible for control and supervision in the field of mass communications.

In December 2025, Roskomnadzor announced that it was not blocking the Twitch service in Russia. The statements arose against the background of the fact that users began to encounter difficulties when downloading broadcasts more often.
