TMZ reported on the work of rapper P Diddy in a laundry room in a New Jersey prison
American rapper and producer Sean Combs, known as P Diddy, who was sentenced to 50 months in prison, works in a laundry room at a New Jersey state prison. This was announced on October 31 by the TMZ portal.
"He's already got a prison job <...> works in the laundry," the article says.
According to the newspaper, which had a photo of the rapper taken for the first time after his arrest, the 55-year-old rapper is depicted in an orange hat and a dark blue down jacket, and Combs' beard has noticeably turned gray.
The musician was taken into custody in New York on September 17, 2024 by court order. It was clarified that he has been under intense scrutiny since his ex-girlfriend accused him of human trafficking and years of violence in 2023. On the same day, law enforcement officers charged the rapper with human trafficking and prostitution.
Later, on October 3 of this year, Combs was sentenced to 50 months in prison for human trafficking and sexual assault. US President Donald Trump, in turn, announced on October 7 that P Diddy had asked for his pardon.
On October 28, ABC News reported that P Diddy could be released in three years. The perpetrator is expected to be released from custody in Brooklyn on May 8, 2028. However, according to the publication, this date may change: if the star's lawyer's request for transfer and treatment for drug addiction is granted, the period will be reduced by 12 months.
