A rally of relatives of Ukrainian servicemen was held in Kiev demanding that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) return the bodies of the dead and clarify the fate of the missing. This was reported on October 29 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"Another rally was held in Kiev demanding that the Ukrainian command clarify the situation with the missing servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Relatives of military personnel from various units participated in the action. They demanded, among other things, to evacuate the dead from the battlefield," the source told RIA Novosti.

According to him, relatives of fighters from various units, including the 95th airborne assault and 157th mechanized brigades, attended the action. The participants held posters with photos of the missing military and the symbols of the units.

Earlier, on October 20, British journalist Warren Thornton reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were significantly distorting data on casualties. He noted that mass graves with signs reading "unidentified defender of Ukraine" are appearing in different regions of the country, including near Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporizhia and Kharkiv, which, according to him, undermines confidence in Kiev's official statistics.
