An old tree collapsed on five parked cars on the avenue of the 60th Anniversary of the USSR in Lipetsk. The incident occurred on the night of October 29 in the courtyard of house No. 5.

"It's good that there were no people at that time. Repeated appeals to the Novy Gorod management company about cutting down trees were ignored, and this is the result," a local resident told GOROD48.

Representatives of the Criminal Code assured that they knew about the tree and did not sit idly by. An appeal to allow the demolition was sent to the office of the chief inspector of the regional capital. While the documents were being prepared, a tree fell.

The utilities promised to cut down the remains of the tree today, when the car tower arrives. The Novy Gorod company is also ready to discuss compensation for car owners on an individual basis.
