Akhmat commander Alaudinov named the main task of the Russian Armed Forces in the special operation

The main task of the Russian Armed Forces is to liberate as much territory as possible as part of a special military operation so that Russia can have an advantageous position at the negotiating table when the conflict ends. This was announced on August 29 by the commander of the Akhmat special forces of the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant General Apty Alaudinov.

"Our task is to do everything to move forward where it is more convenient for us. <...> To do everything to free up as much territory as possible and to be able, if necessary, to complete our negotiations at the negotiating table, to have a case that will be exchanged somewhere, and perhaps negotiated somewhere.",— the TASS news agency quoted him as saying.
